Can anyone not affiliated with MS make any comments on the upcomming Lindows OS?

1. Pros\Cons
2. Performance and reliabiltiy.
3. Security
4. Connectivity (to NT\Novell\Linux servers)

I am sincerely interested in it as a MS desktop alternative.

FYI, Lindows when released is supposed to allow you to run most applictions that run on Windows (Office etc.).

Thanks for your comments,

Michael

KOLDARK - Mike Wills

Koldark pls, you are an as400 programmer, maybe you would know. was there ever an aix fo x86 processors?

Thanks for all the comments. I should make clearer, I am interested in LINDOWS as a desktop OS (using NT\Linux for servers). In our environment we must support Office 97\2k. I have looked at WINE etc too.

Has anyone here actually installed or seen LINDOWS?

Thanks again,

Michael
