Limiting # of entries returned

I work in a hospital and have a report that shows the medications that a patient is taking which are charted on admission. I am needing to limit the information to one or two entries and am wondering how to do that.
I know this is vague. What other info do you need?

Well, I'm a little frightened that you would only display SOME of the medications. Or are you saying you need to combine them into two or fewer lines?

It would help to see a sample of the fields (labeled) you would be using and how the results currently display if placed in the detail section. Then show us how you want them to display.
