I'm hoping someone will know right off what I've yet to find out: How to limit the search function in Help to just Visual Basic. It makes me so happy to know that there are related topics to every search that link to Visual InterDev, ASP pages, and whatever sexy web formatting program of the moment is being touted, BUT I just want Visual Basic answers. Also, is there a way to start Contents help from a given section, e.g., "Functions," rather than having to drill down every time?

TIA [sig][/sig]

When you have help open, there is a combo box for the 'Active Subset'. Set this to 'Visual Basic Documentation' [sig]<p>David Paulson<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= > </a><br> [/sig]

David,

Thanks for your response. I had tried this previously and still get lots of extraneous returns. For example, searching for &quot;collections&quot; in just the Visual Basic subset
returns scads of &quot;Web Workshop&quot; and SQL server references. Seems like the MS people would have allowed for more precision. . .

Thanks again [sig][/sig]
