Hi All

I would like to limit access to a Goldmine database I created, to a certain group of people in the office here. We currently run GM with our standard Common DB and recently added a second DB for our BuzDev department only. What is the best and easiest way to allow only members of the BuzDev group to access this particular database thru GM?

Keep in mind that we run our Goldmine ver6.0 on DB and not SQL data.

TIA

Hi

The easiest way is to create a user group of the people who can access the database. Then go to the properties of the new database and set the 'Grant access to this file for' and select your new user group.

Only the users in the group will be able to access the new database.

Hope this helps.
