Limited quantity of database records?

We are running ArcServe 7 for Netware in a 4.11 environment on a dedicated Backup Server. There is a report function in the software. If we are trying to generate an appropriate report, the tool quits after generating 10000 records. But there are at least 18000 records. Is there a limitation of records ????
Does anyone have the same or a similar problem?
Thanx 4 some help!
