I just received my Acer Aspire One. When I connect to the Internet I receive full signal however get a message saying limited or no connectivity. I have unplugged the router several times and another laptop is connected through the router and mp iPod touch which both work fine. I have also tried renewing the ip address through command prompt and receive message that the media is disconnected.

Any help? Thanks.

Is Windows Zero Configuration managing your wireless settings or is it managed by a third-party wireless software? (if the latter, try letting Windows manage it, as it often does a decent job) What type of encryption are you using?

Sounds like you're associated but not autenticated with the accesspoint.
Probably as tlcscousin said check if there is mac-address filter somewhere that blocks the autentication
