Hello all,

Is there any way of creating a restricted IP Office Manager sign-in for non technical staff?
We have a few departments where staff move around quite frequently and our IT dept get a number of requests daily to change hunt group memberships.

I know i can create buttons for this which will enable the users to opt in and opt out of hunt groups but unfortunately this is not being carried out, so ideally a manager would make these changes.

With this in mind could a log-in be created in which only the hunt-group memberships can be amended?

Thank you in advance.

Hint,

Security Settings.

However, there are already two restricted users created. But as a highly experienced IP Office professional, you knew this and just forgot right?

U = Manager
P = Manager

or

U = Operator
P = Operator

Why of course :-0

I think I will enable the 'Manager' log-in for the non-technicals and restrict as much as poss!

Thanks again hairlessupportmonkey !!

it is also worth pointing out that if users are not using their group buttons correctly the correct way to resolve the issue is buy education, not just moving the responsibility to someone else.

This works great apart from a major flaw.... The user still has access to 'File' menu which has access to 'Erase Configuration, Erase Security Settings' etc... Surley there is an option to restrict this also as this is the most important part I would like to mask?!

Security Settings under File / Advanced.

look in there.
