In Windows XP Pro is there a way to grant the ability for users to install hardware/software, mainly printers without making them local admins? I've tried making them power users but that doesn't work. Also tried editing the local policy to allow a specific local user to load and unload device drivers as well as making sure that the option for denying users the ability to add printers is disabled.

Does anyone out there have any idea how to do this or if it is even possible?

Is there anything on offer in Group Policy you can use?
