hi,
I want to have some information about the limitations of microsoft .NET framework, e.g. it runs only on microsoft windows 2000 version or something like that ....

XP and Windows2000 are the only platforms that you can serve ASP.NET from. The .NET framework (i.e. for windows forms and other non-web applications) can run on other MS platforms, such as NT4 and win9x.
