Limitation of # of Tables available through ODBC???

We have a warehouse environment which I'm trying to connect to via ODBC (either Access/Excel or Crystal) for whatever reason, I'm only seeing a limited number of the available tables. We have about 12,000 tables in our environment, does anyone know whether there's a limitation on how many tables will be brought back??

There's a limitation of how many tables you can view with Excel/Access, I ended up downloading some shareware and it works (Query Tool (ODBC) 5.0).
