Hello,
I am stumped on this issue.
1. I tried to export an Access table to SharePoint. The Table had 27,000 records and 67 fields. The export fails with a MS Access 3981 Bulk update error
2. I then emptied the table and was able to export and link it to SharePoint. I then ran an append query to add records to the linked table and it stopped appending at 9269 records.
3. The append query would not work producing the following error "Cannot Update. Database or Object is read-only" but if I selected under 500 records at a time then they would append taking the record count over 10,000.
4. I have another linked table with 30,000 records but only 3 fields and that one works fine.
It's almost as though once the linked table reaches a certain size, not just record count, I am not allowed to append records in bulk. I can append in small increments.
Is there any such limit in SharePoint and if not do you guys have any idea as to what the problem might be?
Thanks for any help.
