Hey All,

I'm quite new to crystal report so maybe i'm stuck on somthing simple but here it goos

I have a SQL db with arround 500 lines and i do a record selection on 2 parameters that i give.
In most cases that gives me back 1 result but in some cases it gives me 2 or even 3 records

in my report i only want to see the first result i get and not the others
so basicly i want somthing that ones there is a record found that has the given parameters it stops looking for more.

Tnx already for the advice in this !!

Greetings

Tom Brunson

Hi,
The database will return all records that match your selection formula, so add a limiter to your formula like :
and recordnumber < 2.

The exact method wlll depend on what database type ( SqlServer, Oracle, Access, etc) you are using.
