I am trying to figure out a way t configure our Netopia R9100 to limit all internet access on a couple of computers in the company so that they can ONLY get email. Is this possible?

DSL MODEM --> R9100 --> SWITCH --> Computers

The other alternative is to block all activity and bring the email server internally. Then the local computers which need to be limited would simply have access to the internal mail server. But this is a 2nd choice, because its better for us to have the mail server done externally due to traffic.

Is there a way to filter or limit an internal IP address, say, 192.168.1.10, so that it can only get POP?

I haven't played with a Netopia, but if it can do ACLs(Access Control lists), and if those PC's are statically assigned IP or DHCP with reservations then I'd use an ACL to only allow POP out. You'll propably need 2 ACL's per PC, 1 allowing POP out from the 1 specific PC and a second denying all to that PC.
