Does anyone out there know if there is a limit to how many times a call can be transfered? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It should be as many as you want.
I know of no limitation.

There are several limitations that are both inherent and imposed. Depending on where you are transfering, the voice quality may degrade or your network settings may prohibit addtionaly transfers.

Are the transfers associated with a single switch or is it a DCS/QSIG environment? Is re-route or path replacement active?

There is a forced digital loss related to digital facilities which may cause unacceptable voice quality when transfered over several network legs.

Some networks have maximum transits set up to prevent round robbin scenarios or and unacceptable number of hops within the network. James Middleton
