Hi,
Has anyone come across this problem before? Or know the solution?
I'm using a parameter on the client database field on a report so that user can select a particular client.
When I select the table (Client) and field name (ClientName) for the defaults for the parameter, it will only list some of the clients (i.e. clients whose names are from A to C). It won't list all the clients in the default list. The user won't be able to select a client having a name greater than C -- not good!
Since I have about 1000 clients I want the user to be able to select from the parameter dialog box, is there a limit on how many default items can be shown in a parameter box? Is there some setting/option that only allows X number of items to be listed?
Any solution or workaround is greatly appreciated.
I'm using CR8.5.
Thanks,
Karen
