Im a tech in a school, students and teachers forget to log off and roam... Is there a way to not allow users to log on if they are log into another machine. (NT Server, 98 machines) (Also, kids give out passwords and then someone deletes there folder) :)

Well, if you wish to prevent users from logging onto different nodes, go to user manager and in the 'logon to' option mention the name of the node the particular user is allowed to logon to. This will effectively prevent the user from logging on to nodes other than his/hers. Apart from this if you wish to prevent users from logging on more than once, better check up this site for NTNAME As for directories getting deleted, I don't think you have much choice with 98 workstations. I would suggest that you take backups of data manually. Maybe you can automate that using 3rd party utility or make batch scripts to copy data into profile directory which in turn will, during logoff, copy that onto the user's home directory in the main server. Sorry, this may sound pretty confusing...

Hope this helps you... wiedersehn
