I use a query by form. My query can already find an instance by entering the whole word or even a portion of the word in a form field so long as its the first letters/numbers, but how can you make it find an instance by using a any part of a word. An example of one part of the query is below.

Like [Forms]![srchasset]![mod] & "*"

Anyone got any ideas?

Another asterisk should do it:
Like "*" & [Forms]![srchasset]![mod] & "*"

Bang on! Thanks for that Remou
