Like a Reminder

hi everybody,
am developping an application in which i have to use a kind of reminder strategie. the application saves the date and a message in the database, and on due date, the message is sent to the screen of the user. But i just don't know how to be checking for the date. Coz it has to be done automaticaly. Just like a calendar reminder.
Can anyboday help me with this. I really need so code for doing this.

Andy's code of course works, but assumes that you're using ADO Recordsets. Are you?

If you are using ADO then Andy's code should work just fine. Just use it within a Timer with a suitable Interval.
