lights wont turn off

I have a definity g3v6 that the lights will light but they will not turn off, I can remove the light by using the clear amw all command, but that is the only way. They have an Innline 2020 vm and the codes are being sent but the switch is not turning them off. Any suggestions?

Check the LWC Activate and LWC Cancel codes in the PBX (display features). The voice mail system uses these codes, followed by the extension number, to turn on or turn off the MWI. The same port that turns the light on has to turn it off.

You can also use a display set for a station that is a global retriever which is defined on the system-parameter features form on page 2.

You need the following buttons on this phone to trouble shoot where the messages are coming from that you cannot turn off.

msg-retr cov-msg-rt delete-msg next

A global retriever can retrieve and delete messages for anyone and tell you who (what station) sent the message and when.
