Hi all,

Can someone point me to some docs, preferably a command reference, on LOM (Lights Out Management)? Thus far, I've been unable to locate a reference out there. I have a Sun Fire V120 that seems to be shutting itself down, and I'm trying to track down the problem.

Thanks
Jericho

More importantly, does anyone know how the LOM alarms are triggered? I have a hardcopy of the docs now, but they only mention that the alarms "are associated with no specific conditions but are available to be set by your own processes." from p.9-5 of the Sun Fire/Netra V120 User's Guide.

Every so often one of these alarms is triggered on my box, and halts the server to the ok prompt.

i found chapters 5 and 6 of the sun fire v100 server user's guide particularly helpful. let me know if there's anything in particular you're looking to do.

Thanks I've read through it. But I'd like to know how the alarms are triggered and what criteria is set for halting the system.
