Hi,
i have a CICS 6.1 with CLID Card NT5B41GA.
The system as the full installation has recently suffered from lightening storm.
All phones were still up and running for internal calls but no way to get or sent an external call.
The CLID card has suffered (one line resistance visibely burned, same line resistance fuse down).
I have purchased 2 spares refurbished cards with same reference.
When i have replaced on the system, signaling came fine with Clid dispaly both ways but voice is crap, barely not audible.
I was not on site just providing recommendations.
My first guess was that i did not have the good profile (cards came from canada but system is implemented in europe) but there is not dip switch settings that allow to load another profile on the card and i saw nothing in menu that would make think there is a software option.
I have tried to remotely connect but without success (irad was not active before so mwybe not linked to the issue).
My second guess is that the chassis itself has suffered from lightening storm as well and that a componant from the main board is dead.
I am thinking about purchasing another refurbished chassis then putting all cards + software module and restarting the system.
I have 2 questions:
- Did i check everything or is-there something i should have investigating before replacing the chassis ?
- If i replace the chassis, is-it straightforward, just moving all cards + the software module or do i need to perform other operations or change something in the programming ?

Aprreciate any feedback !

I would say the cabinet took a hit.

Replace as you say but to keep programming you need to use the IRAD and NRU software but for the size of a CICS it will only take an hour to program and another to check sets.

Bring new software too just in case it took a hit as well.

Ok, thanks for informations.
So you confirm if i cannot get the Irad working and cannot do a full backup via NRU i will lose the configuration then have to redo all manually ?
