Hello Guys,

Has anyone seen any sort of tutorial or can give some info on how to do an animation that would effectivly have the camera pass through the inside of a cylinder...

Im trying to animate a white cylinder with black back ground, the problem is shading it to look realistic...

Thanks guys (by the way I'm still stuck with Flash 4)

I'm not sure if this does what you want but try...

The tunnel is a filled circle - use the "radial gradient" option with four shades of your colour. The animation is four frames long, for each frame re-edit the gradient cycling the colours: so if frame 1 has a white, light grey, mid grey, dark gray gradient then frame 2 is light grey, mid grey, dark gray, white and frame three starts with mid grey etc. Effectively you are animating the fill...

For the tunnel mouth just overlay a black circle over your gradient animation.

now let me see you make it to were you can go down through the tunnel and it starts to turn corners....but the whole time staying in thwe tunnel.....that would be cool....

Hey, can I get some feedback here... could someone please tell me if the tunnel effect at the end of this movie works or not, its a bit rough at the moment, but was just hoping to find out if it works or not....

thanks,
