I have a FS Lifebook E7010 (WinXPP, Readeon 7500), great laptop in most areas. However, when I connect to the external monitor port (CRT) the laptop immediately freezes meaning the computer has to be turned off in order to connect it to a video projector. This is very annoying when giving lectures since I lose valuable time. Haven't had this problem with other laptops and "all the other speakers" can just hook up their laptops without turning them off. Is this something that can be fixed somehow or do I just have to live with it?? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
