Hello. I want to let you all know that this forum has been the best resource I've found since I started using Access in 2004. The following post changed the way I look at database design forever. thread958-849211

I was always taught to use tables as the basis for forms. After reading this post I checked with the .Net developer in our group and he confirmed that using tables to populate a recordset is not recommended. Since he is not familiar with Access he wasn't aware that I was doing this all this time. Keep up the good work!

I went out to read the reference thread. But I think the simple statement that rather than using a table to populate a form, we should be using a query or SP would have answered my question, and saved me the time of reading the other thread.
