Licensining Question (legistics)

OK, I have 3 of the same machine, all with XP Pro, all dell dimensions same model. I have a select contract for my OfficeXP with enough licenses for the three and I have other applications that do not require licensing.

I want to copy the hard drive of a machine I have installed everything on it and then put the drives back in the machines.

OfficeXp has the same number
All other apps are to the company so they are safe
All hardware is the same


Each machine has a windowsXP product Key but by copy the drive the registration info will carry over from the first drive.

Question:

1) Is there a way to go into the system and change the registration # once the machine is up and running

2) Will it matter if I copy the drive to the 2 other drive using the same windowsxp key as long as each machine has there own key on the side of the machine.

Are you using Norton Ghost to clone these hard drives. If so you will have a sysprep that you can run that will allow you to put in a new product key for Windows.

Not quite 100% true. Under normal conditions yes.
Enterprise agreeements work differently.

As to the question, I would have to agree with mpnut.

i doubt 3 pcs counts as an enterprise purchase thats the reason i had said that sorry for any confusion caused
