Within the past week we've had a few problems with our Unity and Call Manager Servers. On the Call Manager side we're not having any problems, but in the Event Log we're getting "Device Unregistered" and all the devices are becoming unregistered. Than on the Unity side there's an event saying "Licensing Violation, and something about account being suspended for 48hours. And I know we've got 25 voice mailbox licenses and 27 voice mails. Would this keep the phones from being able to receive outside calls? Or does this seem irrelevant to the error log and events? Because once we restart the Unity server and KVM back to the Call Manager and reset the Gateway everything works fine again for a few days or maybe just one day. If anyone has any light they could shed on this, please help!

Do you have temporary licenses? We used temp licenses once and had similar issues.....

No, we don't have temp. licenses. We just went over by two licenses and now we're having these issues, but it wasn't until we hooked up our new ISA 2006 server which we believe has allowed Call Manager and Unity to see the internet and send info to CISCO thus triggering the series of events leading up to this. To where as our old ISA 2000 server wasn't allowing internet traffic to our 10.110.110.X;10.120.120.X locals for the VOIP setup. To where as it allows traffic for the 10.10.10.X;10.20.20.X;10.30.30.X locals. But we're probably going to just buy more licenses and I think it's like 170 dollars for 25 more licenses on version 4.X.

Your problem is very clear. You are exceeding the licenses you have purchased (25) from CISCO by 2 (27). So Unity shuts down. When you reboot it, it will work for 48 hrs and then it will shut down again.

It has nothing to with CISCO accesing your server. The license is internal to the server and you are simply are over your licensed mailboxes.
Either delete two users or contact your CISCO rep to purchase addtl licenses. There is no workaround unless you want to reboot every 48hrs.
