Hi,

Here's an odd/absurd question. If you have a Windows 2000 web server, do you need to have some sort of 2000 licensing for the computers that access that 2000 web server?

My situation is kind of unique in that i'm a developer and a higher-up is telling me this. How can you disprove the non-existent? I can't tell if this is something they're misconstruding of something that's actual or whether it's just a total misconception.

Any information would be more than helpful.

Thanks,

Shearbec :)

I believe if you're accessing it over a LAN then you need a Win2k CAL, but if it's remotely over the net then you don't. Darrell Mozingo
