I'm moving our corporate databases into a new machine.
I'm wondering how to make sure that licensing is carried over to the new machine? we lost the original licensing paperwork or documentation on how many per seat licenses we have.
I installed SQL 2000 into the New machine and selected 25-seat license (just guessing) during the install process. I'm wondering if SQL will function properly? or fail to work 100% later.

Check the SQL Licencing control pannel on the old machine. It will tell you the licensing model of the old machine.
