Hi Gents, In theory the SMBC controller is designed to host around 150 users. Could I add a total of 200 IP Users licenses and configure them all? Will the SMBC complain that I program more users that it is designed for? The traffic load will be very very load, no more that 10 simultaneous calls are expected.

Please advise.

This was from an MiVB presentation. I think the hotel capacity for up to 300 endpoints may be due to lower expected traffic.
MiVoice Business on SMBC can support:
  • Integrated MPA probe
  • Integrated MBG functionality for SIP Trunking, Teleworker and Mobility
  • Integrated CloudLink Gateway for add-on apps and integrations
  • 6 native FXS ports built-in with the option to expand up to 22 by adding 4-port cards
  • 16 FXO trunks by adding 2-port or 4-port FXO cards
  • Up to 150 users with 3 devices each (for SMB Market)
  • Up to 300 end points for Hotels

the problem will be with support , if you are overconfiguring it and there are any issues that appear to be resourse related , that will be mitels response - its been over configured - remove some devices . i currently have a micollab server in same situation - showing capacity alarms as it was deplyoyed as a 250 user and is now running 315.
its working fine but if i log a ticket then im expecting mitel to tell me to up the resources
