I just added four 5 pack IPO R8+ Office Worker to Power User Upgrade licenses(267803) and they say Obsolete? This is a Linux PC IPO Server Editon running 8.1.69. WTF!

Do you have office workers?
If you do how many and are they in use or assigned?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Available Instances = 230
Number of Licenses in Use = 0

Are you sure you have a R9 or got the right Office 2 Power user licence?

If you have a R9 system or got the IPO R9 OFF WORKER TO PWR USER UPG 5 (275651) then it could be that you get the Obsolete message.

Bas1234,

If you read the original post you can see it is R8. License Part number is there too.

What happens if you actually assign a office worker license to a user?

I am thinking that License isn't supported on server edition. There would be no other reason for it to say obsolete.

The server edition only has office worker and power user.
So the upgrade from office worker to power user should work fine.

I just opened a ticket with Avaya. I will post once they get back to me.

Hmmm, i have had a R9 version which worked for me on an IP500v2

Unsupported licenses. Avaya is giving us credit for the licenses.

What do you mean unsupported licenses?
These licenses do exist from 8.0 so i don't get it.
Who did you buy them from? Avaya or a BP?
