I have backup exec7.0 single server edition 25 user, installed on a novell netware 4.1 server that has 22user license. It has been running for several years with no problems. Recently I added a 50 user license, which upgraded the server to 72 users. The backup continues to work as normal, but every 20 minutes the server broadcast messages pops up to all the attached workstation. It says, "Backup Exec has a user violation". I've figured out how to automate the workstations to close the message when it pops up. But this extra network traffic I really don't feel is needed. I'm only backing up my single server, no workstations are being backup. Does anyone know how to stop the server from boardcasting?.

Backup Exec says the product is not longer supported and won't help me. I don't feel I should have to upgrade Backup Exec, to continue to backup one server. Any ideas wolud be appreciated.
