Hello everybody,

I have a big problem which i hope i'll get an answer from you guys, if you met the issue, i have a mx-one server, linux based, and i have to upgrade the license in it, i looked into alex but it is not very clear about it, so if any of you already did it please give me a hand with it.

Thanks a lot

the license file can be found @ the following directory path
/etc/opt/eri_sn/lic.dat

copy the new license file to this directory. it's is a good idea to leave the old one there but change the name of it. eg. oldlic.dat

there is few ways it can be done:

mount a usb device and copy from it.
use an SSH tool like WINSCP to copy the file directly to the directory. or you could try using Total commander which uses FTP to copy it.

I personally use WINSCP due to site limitations but it works well (click and drag)...

"There is no place like 127.0.0.1
