Reading the forums, it appears that Windows SBS allows a max of 75 connections of any type (mapped drives, VPNs, etc).

In event viewer, I'm getting the following message:
License usage for product Windows Server is at the maximum number of per server licenses purchased. New license requests may not be granted. Consult Licensing from the Administrative Tools folder for more information

When I go into "License Manager", it says I have 5 installed licenses, with a maximum usage of 12. It doesn't really explain anything about what this means. Does this in any way relate to the number of users or number of connections we can have?

We have 19 actual users on the system. Do we (or can we) upgrade the license for more connections?

Also, it appears that only one user can use VPN at a time - can this number be increased?

Thanks.

Yes, you have to by Server User CAL's, (Client Access Licences).

You then enter the code into the server and it allows more connections.

You are currenty breaching MS licensing by not adequaetly licensing the users on the system.

Speak to your IT reselller / Licensing account manager about SBS User CALs
