I have a problem on our Nt4 server sp6 - when i check license manager old users have reappeared with a yellow triangle next to them - i have deleted them several times but they reappear - anybody any ideas.

I don't have a solution for you but from my experience, license manager is a pain in the arse. I disabled it.

Just make sure you keep track of the licensing some other way or your company could get dinged with fines from the BSA.

You might try the following:
1) Stop the License Manager Service.
2) Rename the llsuser.lls file located in your \winnt\system32\lls directory.
3) Restart the License Manager Service

This won't reset your purchase history, just the users. Also, if you use are using both a PDC and BDC, you will need to stop both sides. Otherwise, replication will occur.
