License key transfer

I know that it is possible to transfer licenses from the serial or usb dongle to the IP500 feature key card, my question is: how do I tell the distributor that it is possible, I've done it before with a prior company, but this one is a little confused in the process. Anyone here know how to point them in the right direction?

If they dont know, get a new salesperson. A dongle swap is common.
