License key needed

Had to default a bcm50 but need the original license key if anyone can help me out, thanks, dave

Do you know a supplier for your BCM?. Because the keycodes were registered via a different distributer, I can't view the BCM 50 release 3 keycodes.

If the disk is still working or that you have a backup file, then it's possible to recover the licence file.

Yes, the system was purchased through a different vendor who really isn't helpful. I'll try this method and let you know if it works, thanks

I forgot to add that as your system is a BCM 50, then it's still possible to see if you can add in a try n' buy feature via the KRS site. This would get you a keycode generated.
I'd try the other options first.

This information below might be useful if you can access the hard disk?.

The BCM-50 is Linux OS. There is a free program called DiskInternals Linux Reader which allows you to read Linux disks from a Windows based PC. You might need to buy a SATA to IDE adapter in order to attach the BCM-50 drive to your computer.

The license file is located in the first Linux ext partition under nn\etc. You'll see the license file in text format. Just copy and save it off to your C: drive and then change the txt extension to lic. Then you can do a level 2 reset, connect to the BCM-50 with Element Manager and reload the lic file.

Thanks firebird, my colleague has the bcm site access but his pw is not working, 2nd time in 2 weeks and always when you need it. We' ll try the try and buy but first we ll try accessing the file. Is it possible to sag into a bcm, being Linux based?
