License Grace Period Not resetting

Hi,

I have a SE secondary that lost connection to the primary which sent it into grace period for about 20 minutes.

The alarm said 15 days remaining and was black. A few days later and I check and its happended again and yet again says 15 days remaining.

I know that you are meant to get 30 days grace and it seems like the grace period is just following on and not resetting.

We use central licenses from the Primary and not a WebLM server.

Is there anyway of resetting the grace period after the error has cleared?

A reboot didnt seem to change anything.

It is only 15 days.

As soon as the primary server connection is lost the other secondary server and expansion units go into 15 day grace mode.


What’s causing the issue on the primary connection to be

There is no reset
Every time the connection is down you get 15 days

I guess then I need to switch to WebLM as that gives 30 days grace.

Issue was just brief slow connection.

I guess that IPO caches the licenses dir those 15 days. Instead of rehosting the licenses and switch over to WebLM (I would use WebLM though) you should check why IPO isn't able to get the licenses and switches to grace.
