License for storage node backup

Which licences I need to backup storage node client ?
Is "Storage node license" sufficient, or "Client license" is required too ?

nop... you need to license the "Storage Node" only if you have enough clients licences, if not, you must to buy more clients.

If you defined that node as a storage node with remote devices and/or jukebox attached, then it wil need a storage node license.

However, if you also intend to backup this storage node, then it will also need a client license.


i.e. yes, you will also need a client license for your storage node.

And ... if this SN is of another family as the NW server, yo may also need a ClientPak license if you want to back him up (which is usual for a SN)
