Since upgrading our system to 2.1(15) from 1.4
went to 1.99 then 2.1(15)
Ip Office 403 with (1) 30 port digital ,(1) 30 port Analog
we have been getting invalid licenses error after a week
the upgrade service was stopped ....saved config in ManagerImmediate and restarted machine with file server (actually the Voicemail PC) file server was loaded and is showing good no X through the icon on desktop
Again service was good for about 5 days and then stopped again ...this time the licenses are showing as VAILD
voicemail server says it was in demo mode

17:46:03 - New VMAIL Client

service stopped at 16:41 pm Friday 3-18 and restored 17:46
the same night without assistance ????

running on Pc with XP Professonal version 2002 service pack 2 ...the 10.0.0.240 is the address of the IP Office
that is also programmed in the manager > system tab
we never had this kind of issue prior to upgrade

We are set to 10.0.0.243 in Manager > system > voicemail tab

Voicemail Pro running as 1.4.3.0 we are going to go to 2.0(17) I imagine its a issue with versions as manager is 2.1(15) and voicemail Pro 1.4

any thoughts ?? Thank you for any and all posts

Sorry it should say service pack 1 I doubled check to make sure it was correct :)

1) Upgrade to V2.1(27) or you will be sorry
2) Disable the Win XP firewall
3) make sure that any changes to the CFG are being made with a V2.1 manager & not an earlier version (This is known to invalidate licences)

Mr Guru is spot on with point 3. Always use 2.1 manager with 2.1 firmware (2.0 manager will cause licence invalidations).

Old school Alchemy engineer - trying to keep up with the times :)
