I am having random users received the following message every time they log on a particular server in the farm.

"Your terminal services temporary client license will expire in 7 days. Please contact your administrator to get a permanent a license."

Not sure why we are receiving this error and just on one of the servers and only a few individuals. if the license was "really" going to expire - then a"all" my Citrix users on this particular server ont the farm should be receiving this error.

Any answers? Thanks

MSR63,
This is usually because there is an inconsistency on which license mode you are using on that server.

I would check your licensing mode on that one Citrix server. Go to Start-Programs-Administrative Mode and go to "Server Settings".

You need to probably change it from Per Device to Per user or vice versa.

Hope that helps.

MSR63,
I left out a step in there:
I would check your licensing mode on that one Citrix server. Go to Start-Programs-Administrative Mode-Terminal Services Configuration and go to "Server Settings".

Thank you - that server was set to device instead of user.
I made the change and have not heard any complaints from my users thus far.

Thanks so much!

Have a great work week!!
