Hi Everyone,

I have just started a new role as IT manager we have 30 users. I have found that on every desktop PC MS Office Professional has been installed using the same key but we only have ONE licenced version of MS Office Pro and 30 Versions of Office 2003 Standard Upgrade Edition.

Am I correct in thinking this breaches licencing laws?

Thanks for your help, Damien

Indeed, that is a breach of the license agreement.

Yep, and on that large of a scale, I'd be discussing with management as to what their desires are concerning it, and get something changed/fixed ASAP. I don't think Microsoft is too fond of organizations, in particular, abusing license agreements, since you're talking MANY more copies of the software in one location.
