Hey Guys,

Newbie here. One computer runs VB and I can set up a MS Comms Control, v6 no problem. My computer does not and I get the following error -

You don't have the license req to use this ActiveX control.
You tried to open a form containing an OLE object or an ActiveX control or you tried to create an ActiveX control.
To obtain the appropriate licence, contact the company that provides the licence OLE object or ActiveX control.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

Could be wrong, but I don't think the comms control has a licence. Try re-installing it.

It all registers great using regsvr and you can even see it as Microsoft Communications Control in both the list of possible ActiveX buttons and in the list of ActiveX registered thingies. The problem is when I go to past one of these activeX buttons that I get that error. It's not that I don't have the .ocx registered correctly.

Does anyone have any idea about what I am missing?
