Library graphics become gray boxes

I have successfully imported PSD, AI and EPS graphics files into a PM 7.0 publication, then selected the graphics and added them to the Library. When dragged from the Library back into the same publication, these graphics usually show up (and print) as gray boxes.

When they do, I delete the item, import it again and sometimes it will display and print properly, even though I go through exactly the same steps every time. Doesn't matter what type of file PSD, , AI or EPS) or how I import it (Paste, Paste Special, Insert Object, or Place).

Very annoying. Any ideas? I'm using the Windows try-out version of PM 7. Resizing images makes no difference. File sizes range from 64KB to 3MB. (I have over 2 gigs of RAM, so it's not a memory problem).

Also, is it really true there is only ONE Undo step available in PM 7, and even that is grayed out half the time? I'm used to having at least a 100 Undos in Photoshop.

AI and EPS graphics will display funky on PM. They will display as gray boxes if you didn't include preview images in the file, which AI doesn't give you the option if I remember correctly. When creating EPS I prefer to use CorelDraw which will allow you to include a WMF preview image for display. If you are printing to a non PS printer, you will get gray boxes, too. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
