Video library for Unix


Hi! I'm a spanish boy and I am working in artificial vision Topics.
I am developing under Sun SPARC Solaris 8 system with the Workshop C++ compiler and I would want a primitive library for working with video. Concretely,I need a function able to extract sequentially the frames from a AVI or compatible format. I need the inverse function too.

Could you help me?
