I'm amazed. I'm a small (read: one-person) business which is data-centric. Over the last two years I've built my tech infrastructure mainly through eBay (never could have done it any other way). I run Backup Exec 9.1 for Windows servers. Recently I upgraded my (one-drive) PowerVault 120T to a 4-drive PowerVault 130T. On starting BEWS I got the happy message that only 1 drive was supported and that I'd need the Library Expansion Option to enable the other drives. So I paid the nearly $700 (as much as I paid for Backup Exec). Imagine my surprise whan I found that the license only enables ONE additional drive!! And that I'd need to drop another $1400 to get the other two dirves online. Are they kidding?

Sure doesn't sound like it. Go to their site and lookup presales. I always get an answer regarding licenses that need to be purchased. Ask them if you need them, and if so, ask for the part number. This way they will help you.

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.
