I've an MFIM50A that I am trying to connect to with various web browsers (IE, Chrome & Firefox) but get various errors:

This site can’t be reached

10.10.10.2 refused to connect.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.

The MFIM is defaulted & I can ping it on 10.10.10.2.

I've tried with TLS turned off in IE but no joy.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Tom

What version hardware on the iPECS? (Trans 72)
Try an older version browser Maxthon.

In your internet option in IE you need to make sure that SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0,1.1 and 1.2 and all ticked

common issue on older systems . log a 24 button handset on to the system and turn tls for web off under the system attributes using the handset . and change the port from 443 to somthing else

On my laptop I have kept IE on version 8 for the reasons of connecting to older LIK systems. I use up-to-date Chrome and Firefox for web browsing or logging onto new LIK/UCP systems.

Try that 24btn way as mentioned above in a default state. No password required. If still not working then download an earlier version of IE without RC4 Cipher technologies.

Good luck

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

ive always found it usefull to have a windows 2000 virtual machine on my laptop

+1 for Martins suggestion ... well sort of , i use a virtual XP machine .. if you do the same i think your woes will vanish.

See the below instructions , i have found various uses for the XP machine not just LG related , i work on Various pbx and this has got me out of several headaches.

ACSS (UC/SBCE/SM/SME)

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.

indeed then when you do gert into it take the firmware on the system to 6.1 and your be able to get at it from a modern machine

Had this problem yesterday. Couldn't talk to an IPECs using any browser.

It turns out that recent upgrades to all browsers don't allow communication with IPECs below software level 6.1DF, if using TLS. It's an LG problem.

You can turn off TLS from a 24 button phone. PGM 160, button 22. Then browse to the IPECs on Using your IPECs IP.

Then either upgrade or stay on http

Good catch Thermus , if you use the XP solution this will negate the need anyway as the browser/security does not get upgraded along with your true PC applications
