LG GSA-4163 Just stopped burning Reads ok??? 1

Hi My LG Dvd Burner just stopped burning,Reads ok,Using Nero 7 for software,shows that it is burning and drive light flashes as though it is burning,but nothing coming out on blank dvd.No Errors at all during process..Is there a way to test the drive to make sure it's not the dvd burner??? Maybe a software problem?? I just want to make sure the drive is ok?

Make sure all of the drive's cables are securely connected.
If they're ok, then see if it burns using different media, and using a slower burning speed.
If no luck, then install a different known working IDE(ribbon) cable.
If no good, then clean the burner's lens.
If that does not work, then install the burner on a different system. If the same problem happens there, then the drive is probably bad.

I just tried to burn an ISO using Nero on a W2K3 Server.
The BURN button wouldn't show up. I downloaded an upgrade for Burn4Free, and the ISO is being written right now.

Could have sworn that Nero was working, but I think I may have only tried to burn a CD at the time.
