Welcome to the new LG / Goldstar Systems forum.

With this forum the focus will be mostly the korean LG-Nortel products, that formerly were named Goldstar.
The product range consists of small to medium size PBX.
Traditional PBX products like GDK-34, GDK-162/186, GDK-16D/E and GDK-20W could be discussed.
Also the new PBX systems that includes VoIP trunk and IP phones could be discussed: These systems are LDK-50/100 and LDK-300.
Also the new pure IP phone system IPECS can and will be discussed here in this forum.

We will try to answer any question asap.

Also discussions about the legacy systems GHX-828 and GSX-1232 and GHX-36/46 could be interesting here in this forum.
GDK-34 a referred to before, is named GDK FP-II in some countries (Flat-Pack).

Hi i hope that on the forum you can also discuss the IPLDK series of systems which has been launched in the uk.
we seem to have alot of trouble with lg dect.

Are you thinking about then LDK-24 (Nexer) or ipLDK-100/300?
With the old WTIB/WTIU for the ipLDK-100/300 we have got the systems to run stable after upgrading the WTIB PROM to version 1.0M and upgrding the GDC-345H handsets to the newest version 2.0Dn. We are usinge separate cables for each base and are using ferrite cores in both ends of each cable. Finally the KSU is carefully grounded.
These steps have helped us getting stable DECT systems for with the ipLDK-100/300.
Now we have just begun using the WTIBE/WTIUE boards and the GDC-400B base for the ipLDK-100/300, and this seems to work as it should.

I am having seriuos trouble with a LG/GDK system.
I am not sure which type.

But every Saturday at 24:00 hrs. the ISDN_30 PRI rises from zero to 30 Erlang without any calls because the office is closed. This remains until the system is getting a reset on monday morning.

Please help!!!

Hi CIF

We need to know the system s/w and the s/w for ISDN30 Board. This can be seen on the labels on the EPROM's on the ISDN30 board.
Also we need to know what type of GDK system you have: FP-II or 162/186?
