Hi all,

New to forum. Recently purchased a second hand LG GDK-34i system, and have found it relatively painless apart from one thing which I think should be very straight forward, but can't figure out for the life of me.

I want to setup a simple ring group so that when an external call comes in, it phones the first station in the list, then after a set period of time the second station, and so on. I can see how to set one of the station groups to do this, but can't work out how you actually add individual station numbers into the station groups.

I've ploughed through the manual repeatedly, but can't see anything in there. So basically, does anybody know which menu option I need to add stations to a station group in the above system?

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for buying this great product.
It's alsno named GDK FP-II (Flat Pack 2).

Check this Spanish site and use Google translator if Spanish is not your main language.

Otherwise check PGM 47 and PGM 48
You create the groups in PGM47 and correct the group paramters in PGM 48.

Hi, many thanks for your response.

I've been through PGM's 47 and 48 repeatedly, but neither seem to do what I want. 47 simply allows you to specify what type of group it is (circular, terminal etc), and 48 allows you to change the various parameters such as no-answer timer and overflow destination. However, neither lets you specify which station numbers you want in a given group.

It must be possible, but it certainly doesn't seem to be covered in the manual.

I'll have a look at those Spanish manuals in a bit and see if they differ from the English couterparts I have.

With thanks again.

It,s been a while since I worked on LG34I but I believe in prog 47 either a flex button takes youb to adding members or pressing "Speed" button on prog phone takes you yhere and you use flex button to add each user i.e. flex 1 = group member 1, flex 2 for member 2 etc hope this helps

Yes.
Maybe I was too fast explaining:

Try this:
[TRANS/PGM] + PGM47 + group number (620-627) + BTN3 and 6 + [SPEED dialing button]+ members xxx-xxx + (Hold/Save]

or better:

(1) [TRANS/PGM] + 47.

(2) Enter Station Group Number (Ex. 620). LEDs of BTN 1-6 (one of 1-5 and 6) show current station group types.

(3) To assign a station group to hunt group (Circular/Terminal/ UCD), select one of Flex. Button 1-3 as hunting type. To assign a station group to Voice Mail group, press Flex. Button 4. To assign a station group to Ring group, press Flex. Button 5. To assign a station group to Pick-up group, press Flex. Button 6. Each of the system's groups is assigned to Call Pick-Up Group and Hunt Group. LEDs 1-6 shows currently programmed status. After setting station group type, press the [SPEED] button. (Ex. CIR & PKUP). If station member was already assigned to the station group 620, then you will see the first 4 station numbers with input order

(4) To insert a new station as member of the station group, press the one of BTN 1-4 and enter the new station number. To delete a current station member, press the flex button matching that station number and press the [SPEED] button.

(5) Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button for updating database permanently.

THANK YOU!!!

That definitely isn't in the manual, which seems something of an oversight. Still, working as I want now which is all that matters.

Seriously, thank you both for taking the time to respond. Doubt I'd ever have gotten to the bottom of it otherwise. Really appreciate it.

Cheers.

Ooohh...

This subject (i.e. creating groups with members) was one of the most difficult "things" for our engineers when I used to teach them...
You could do trial and error for days...
