hi all. trying to install an sbg 1000 and the Lip8024e will not register. I have changed the mfim ip address on the phone to the system default 192.168.1.1. the best i got out of it was the display showing 192.168.1.1.
Tried the phone on another system (ipecs50) and it works ok.
Tried resetting the sbg back to default still sme problem.
I must be missing something in the install programming, any ideas?

Hi, phones need to be set to use dhcp. Also, you need to allow phones to register. By default it is checking MAC address at logon. This can be set to any device in registration table. The setting reverts on next reset.

I tried an old 8024 and it worked first time, try the 8024e and it didnt.
Then i tried the if all else fails turn off,walk away, then come back after a cup of coffee, powered up again and hey presto it decides to work. two hours yesterday doing the same thing, i love ipecs!!
